Snowflake Garland

If you are looking for a unique item to add to your holiday decor. Look no further than Silhouette. I found a really cute Snowflake in their online catalog. Second, I downloaded the snowflake and positioned 4 on a page. I cut out red and white snowflakes using American Crafts Cardstock. I love this cardstock because it is dyed all the way through the cardstock and a nice 80lb weight. Then, I used my sewing machine to sew them together. I love the quick Garlands, they are easy, fun, and they look amazing!!! I am leaving this up through January. Silhouette Machines and supplies are available at Happy Crafting!!! Jacqueline

Christmas Gift Bags and CONTEST WINNER!!!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was really fun to be with family, but I can't believe that Christmas is right around the corner. I have already started receiving neighbor gifts (those people are really on the ball, I haven't even started my Christmas shopping...shh that will be our little secret.). I thought that in honor of Christmas, neighbors, and friends, I would share a couple of gift ideas that are inexpensive and super cute. When you make something that is packaged really nice, then it doesn't have to cost a fortune because the love shows through. sells quite a few little novelty bags and containers that are perfect for candy and treats. Here are a couple of ideas. Gum balls in a tube with a little gift tag. M&M's in a long skinny bag are the perfect size for a stocking. Remembering those around you this time of years shows how much you care about them. Share some love today.

Oh...I almost forgot!!! Congratulations to Rebecca Atchison you are the winner of the Teresa Collins Urban Market Collection Kit. Please send your address to so that we can send out your prize. Thank you to all that entered. We loved your comments. Happy Crafting!!! Jacqueline

Leaf Garland for Thanksgiving

Looking for last minute Thanksgiving decorations to give you piazza? Well look no further than your Silhouette.  I set up my Silhoutte to Cut 8 leaves. It was easier than I thought it would be. All I had to do was click on the leaf image and move the image to where I wanted it. Once I had the layout and enough leaves (I wanted to fill a 12x12 page), I was ready to go. I picked 6 Fall looking colors of American Craft Cardstock. I used 2 sheets of each color (12 sheets of cardstock total). It took about 20 minutes to cut out the leaves and another 20 to sew on my sewing machine. I just stitched the leaves in at different angles so it looked like falling leaves. Super Easy! I didn't use all the leaves because I had a really long garland (about 20 feet). So I have extra leaves to scatter on my Thanksgiving table. A very low cost decoration. American Craft Cardstock on sale now at!!! Happy Crafting!!! Jacqueline
